VBS Volunteers Needed
Mark your calendars for July 13-17 (6pm-8pm) because VBS is back!
We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting a 5 evening event full of music, games and other fun activities designed to teach kids (aged 4 years old to 9 years old) all about God’s amazing love for them! We will post more details later but for now we are in need of many volunteers to make this awesome ministry possible. We are in need of 2-3 people to make rainforest themed snacks, a photographer, a game leader, a craft leader, video leader and many helpers to assist the group leaders. Instruction manuals will be provided to the snack and group leaders. There are various levels of involvement if you are not comfortable leading. If you would like to be a part of this very rewarding ministry or have questions please contact Robyn Clark (785) 577-9485.
Rosary Leaders Needed
We would love to have more people to lead the rosary before the 5:15 and 8:30 Masses. Please consider volunteering or substituting for this ministry that fosters a deeper faith and prayer life. For more information, please contact Mary Harmon 785-493-1903 or Rose Ann Kassel 785-577-7009.

Safe Environment Training
All those who minister to children or young people are to be educated about the nature of child sexual abuse, how it is perpetrated, how to report it, and strategies for prevention. The Diocese of Salina has implemented a training program by the name of "CMGConnect". This is a national program, widely in used in dioceses throughout the United States. It is a web-based on-line training program that specializes in helping churches and religious organizations create safe environments for children and youth. The program is mandatory for all adults [employees or volunteers] who interact on a regular basis with children in the Salina Diocese. To learn more or begin training, CLICK HERE.
